Martens stop net

Martens bite wires because they treat them as nest building material or potential food. They often do it out of a desire to have fun and diversify their time. The heat they find under the engine compartment is undoubtedly an incentive to do so.
The result is chewed up cables and hoses – as well as a costly trip to the car repair shop.
A plastic net may be the solution to the problem. The uneven surface of the mat is uncomfortable for the marten's sensitive paws. This makes your car unattractive to the animal without causing any harm to it.
Remember that the marten is a protected species and killing it or setting snap traps is prohibited.
